No man's sky next is here, bringing as its primary offering a full multiplayer experience.
Unfortunately for those who do not have and cannot afford PlayStation Plus or xBox Live Gold, that subscription seems to be necessary for online play.
The servers have been fine up until now, so why not keep multiplayer free? R900 / $60 a year for taking advantage of a game I bought already doesn't seem ideal.
Hello Games should be able to negotiate an exception for this game, so why not do so? It could even be a selling point for No Man's Sky.
