NO BAIL FOR ORATILE MASITO

We respectfully write to request that you share this petition as wide as possible. 

We urged the State and police to strongly oppose Oratile Masito's bail.

It is alleged that he sexually assaulted (Cant State name due to Privacy matter) in the early hours  31/08/2025.. he intended  this incident to happen as he came with a Condom and showed no sign of remorse as he was being reprimanded and even threatened to kill people who were willing to help her. He Assaulted her more than once to show that he knew what he was doing

We ask the State Prosecutor and police as well as the Court to recognize the seriousness of this case. Sexual abuse is one of the most harmful crimes, with long-term emotional, psychological, and social consequences. Victims often suffer trauma, fear, depression, anxiety, and difficulties speaking out without proper support. For this reason, we call on the police to ensure the woman receives immediate access to a psychologist or trained counselor so that she can safely tell her story.

If Oratile Masito is released on bail, it will cause further trauma to the victim and place her in danger of intimidation or pressure to remain silent. His release could also interfere with the investigation and risk the destruction of evidence.

We therefore urge the State Prosecutor and police to:

Oppose bail vigorously.

Protect the victim and provide her with professional support.

Widen the investigation, as there may be other instances of abuse or related concerns 

The safety and well-being of this woman must come first. We trust that the State Prosecutor and police will act firmly to ensure justice is served.
