Following the Olympics the Coalition Government claims to want to encourage children and adults to take part in sporting activities thus increasing the health of the nation and fighting the obesity epidemic. Selling off playing fields is in direct contradiction to this policy whether you are Conservative, Lib Dem, Labour or RA! I'm totally convinced that our Local Authority does not need the money that much!!
