To increase cardiac care in WUH

I think its crazy that we dont have a 24/7 cardiac care in this city.

Because I live in Waterford and believe sick people should have the facilities they need.

We need to increase cardiac care in WUH as it covers a large area and every life matters

Because I had a job done on my heart

To improve healthcare in the region and save lives.
Once again, Waterford is ignored and left behind.

I feel strongly that with so many people with cardiac problems an increase in cardiac care in wuh is vital

Because I'm originally from Waterford and my family still lives in Waterford and my father and his brothers have heart conditions and this would impact them greatly

It's a disgrace!!!! It's bad enough we get bypassed on retail but this is so dangerous could be any one of us or our families #waterfordlivesmatter

It's a disgrace .

Why should people in the south east be treated different and it's not like you can decide to have your heart attack in the hours it is currently open.

Because 24/7 cardiac care is badly needed in Waterford

I signed this petition because I am sick and tired of my local hospital being continuously sidelined meaning our lives are at risk because we don't have the case we deserve on our doorstep.

Because we need it

The lives of many in the South Eastern Region ( Waterford, Wexford, Kilkenny and Tipperary ), numbering 500,000, are being but at risk in a disgraceful manner by this Goverment for purely political reasons.

I feel very strongly about the Hereity report , it has many flaws especially where the account of the activity levels in relation to other citys how can you justify quantifying a service that is not there and using it in a report that will cause deaths to residents of the South East in relation to activities in other centres

Because I have paid for this life saving service through hundreds of taxes all my life.

It's a basic right

Because it's necessary

In an independent report to establish whether the South East was justified in needing 24/7 cardiac care, flawed figures and population base was used to distort the existing capacity of Waterford University Hospital, along with failing to recognise the potential increase if the service became available. It also failed to recognise the emergency cases where lives could be saved in the South East with easier and closer access. This isn't parish pump politics, this isn't woe is me, this is about saving lives, having equal access to cardiac care and relieving stresses on other regional hospitals that will actually increase cardiac care across our whole nation!

Because it's a clinical need for the real catchment population of 500000

It's Incredibly important that this happens. It's a life or death issue for cardiac patients.
