My dad had a heart attack on a Friday and nothing could of been done until the Wednesday, my dad me and mam were terrified waiting for the 5 days

Because it's not fair to have people who have a real medical condition wait for treatment because they don't live county's like cork and Dublin. I think it's an absolute disgrace. The government can spend money on everything else except the real places that need it. That's like saying we are cutting out the hospitals in Dublin because we don't need them of course we need them everyone will need them at some stage.

I signed this petition because I have a heart and while at the moment it's healthy that may not always be the case and I dread to think that my life could be over because of heavy traffic on the journey to another county and not because cardiac consultants on my doorstep worked tirelessly to save me! UHW and the people it serves deserve this service ❤️

Remember Mr Harris it's not just Waterford it serves its a much wider area,ambulances have to collect the patient and deliver to the hospital within the opening hours,bet you could go to your supermarket 24/7

It is an absolute disgrace that we should have to even consider a campaign like this. The areas of waterford, wexford, south Kilkenny and surrounding areas need to unite with one voice in thd name of all those who need, deserve and have a right to life.

People of the southeast deserve the same cardiac services as the rest of the country. I believe the cardiologists in UHW are best qualified to know the needs of the region and their voices have been silenced by political egos.

Because if a member of my family needs cardiac care services after 5 oclock, I want them to make it there on time. Driving to cork may mean they won't survive!

It's a vital part of healthcare in the southeast. It's a joke that we are only supposed to have heart attacks between 9 to 5, Monday to Friday God help anyone having one between 5pm and 9am, their chances of surviving irreparable muscle damage are slim to none!

I am a cardiac patient who will be returning and living in Ireland next year, and when I lived in Ireland I was misdiagnosed with the incorrect condition. I believe if care is improved maybe people will not be on incorrect medication for 10 years like I was.
