It would be a disaster if Summerfest was not saved. I live on the Seafront & have no difficulty with any part of Festival. A small minority of resident with very loud voices who object to everything that happens on the Seafront can not be allowed to deprive the majority. We may own our homes but we do not own the Seafront.
Stephen Matthews did very little research before he organised his vendetta against the Summerfest. He never asked opinion from residents. Just listened to the whingers & moaners!

Because people are giving out when there notting in bray and no life and when there is something on and bringing business to bray people are moaning can't win it's only once a year for god sake

I have have come to this festival with my family for the past few years now and really enjoy it and always look forward to coming back. It's a tradition for us now .

I live on meath road and love the buzz the festival brings to the area. I also work on the seafront and have no issue at all with it

My family have enjoyed the summer feast every year
The music on the seafront is always well policed and supervised and brings fantastic atmosphere and revenue to the area
Shame on the councillors!!! And every respect to the organising commitee!!!

Bray is dying as a town. We have no town centre anymore due partly to the high cost the council charges for any new business looking to set up. Whilst there are parts of Summerfest that I don't like I do appreciate that it brings much needed revenue and life to Bray.

I live in a apartment block between the Meath Road and the seafront for the last 7years(behind Ideal stores) and I have a no problems with the summer feast.  I can't even understand why the would take this away from Bray. It's completely ridiculous.

Because it's the only festival in the summer near where I live and all the family can go to you need something to look forward to or you go mad

Bray summerfest is the only remaning large event that occurs in bray that brings the people together and gives the chance to boost tourism in bray and gives children the chance to get out and enjoy the seafront.

bray summerfest is a longstanding traditional event that has been in bray for a considerable amount of years and should continue as there is very little to do in bray anymore.
