I am not, as some would say. a fanatic because I would like to see capital punishment for murder restored. I am 76 years old and I remember the days when there was a deterrant to murder. We were once able to walk the streets safe in the belief that we were safe, but since the abolition of capital punishment we are certainly afraid to go out at night. We therefore believe that it's return is long overdue.
