This situation is terrible
As a contractor myself if we do not meet deadline we get charged penalties so what stop a project that is nearly completed and not just make them pay penalties
In my opinion I think the contractor was not paid and that's why he pulled out

The road works are causing chaos in Rynfield! The traffic is diverting past the Linmed hospital. The crossing of the robots at Parker and Pretoria road has become extremely dangerous as some commuters ignore the robot!

This section of road is in a shocking state, in desperate need of completion as it is like driving on an off road adventure track and some other road users don't even bother obaying the rules on this section of road anymore. Does someone have to die as a result before something actually gets done?

What a disaster to travel during peak hours .Only alternative to use
is Vlei/Uys rd and what a traffic disaster!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please be reasonable and make the right decision
