This should never been stopped dunfermline needs it back

Common sense should prevail, of course Dunfermline should have its on A&E it's a false economy situated at the Vic. Simpler faster better ? Not for the people of West Fife !

Dunfermline is a City and yet does not have an A&E department. More and more houses being built how will Kirkcaldy cope with the demand?

A & E should never have been moved from the queen Margaret hospital. They've spent all that money on the Vic and now they can't afford to run the damn thing and they are running it into the ground. 100s of complaints if negligence already and it's getting worse day !

badly needed

Re:
Hi , Your views are the same as my own , but they can find monies to alter roads /car parks /coffee shops and Wi-Fi. 900,000 would surely be better spent on new staff and equipment , they obviously do not think them important to the running of the health for east and west fife.

Totally out of order not having current A&E in Dunfermline especially given the size of the population.
The whole point of the emergency of the A&E is to get the public medical treatment in the quickest time - the current set up does anything but.

to many people are at risk and lost there lives due to the a.e leaving the queen Margaret hospital so a.e should be reinstated
Guest#37 Mar 21, 2014, 18:19
It is a disgrace that a town the size of Dunfermline does not have A&E services at the local hospital.
Guest#38 Mar 21, 2014, 18:55
it should never have been taken away from dunfermline.

a and e dunfermline
More and more houses getting built. Need an a and e in dunfermline.

Dunfermline is expanding hugely. The eastern expansion is now bordering the M90.
The north western expansion is coming soon. What better reason do we need to have A&E services restored in the town?
Tens of thousands more people and less available services?

should never have happened, disgraceful decision !!
Guest#42 Mar 21, 2014, 20:42
Dunfermline needs A&E!
Guest#43 Mar 21, 2014, 20:44
Dunfirmline is far more central than Kirckaldy for centralising services. all that has happened is fewer staff being unable to cope efficiently with increased numbers.
Guest#45 Mar 21, 2014, 20:46
There are just too many of us and it is too far to go for emergency help.

My daughter is pregnant, lives in Dunfermline. Kirkcaldy is a long way to go in an emergency!
Guest#49 Mar 21, 2014, 21:46
The Eastern Expansion in Dunfermline is growing so it makes sense to have A & E there.
