FOR A/E SERVICES TO BE RETURNED TO QUEEN MARGARET HOSPITAL

Getting rid of the a&e department was a bad move. My daughter knocked herself out after a fall, was the scariest drive I've ever had to do as the nearest a&e is 20 mins away. Bring it back.

Kirkcaldy is way too far for emergencies this side of Fife. Bring back our A&E.

We need the A & E to be reopened in Dunfermline

Please bring back the a+e the area is expanding and we need it. Is it going to take someone dying because of it to make this change? I hope not.

we need queen margaret open some people cant get to kirkcaly and lay ill for ages before getting help because this it not fair especially on elderly patients and young mothers who rely on public transport

A/E services being returned to dline is vital.

It is just next to impossible and so much added stress for the patient and our family to trek through to Kirkcaldy repeatedly and over days and weeks should there be an emergency and thereafter hospitalisation.
No consideration has ever been given to the public for this

said this when they (politicians/council ) discussed things in dunfermline to improve by modernising victoria who denied the cutbacks/closure to QMH and downgrading to a clinic - because it did not fit in with what they wanted the public to know about the intended decision - bet the individuals responsible for deciding this idiotic centralising are never held to account for it or the consequences of their actions..

My dad suffered an aortic dissection before QM A&E closed. If he had to go to the Vic he wouldn't have made it I'm sure of it. They're literally playing with peoples lives.

why travel miles away to Kirkcaldy when we have a perfectly good hospital on our doorstep. Also it could save lives getting to the nearest A&E.

This should never have been taken away from Q M Hospital

I would like to see raw data of how many people have needlessly died already due to this closure. It's not a question of 'when will someone die due to this decision?' - it's already happened, I am certain of that. In an emergency, time is critical and we now have 20 minutes plus added every single time.

The size of Dunfermline and outlying areas desperately need their own A & E

A/E needs to come back to dunfermline too many people are at risk from travelling that bit further!!

It is absurd, a big hospital like that not being run to it's full potential.

Services should never have been moved from Queen Margaret in the first place....a purpose built hospital without A/E department is just ridiculous!

Bring it back, common sense people kircaldy is too far away for A&E treatment.
