This removal of rational discourse in the deliberation of principles, opinions, and legal propositions is a severe blow to the desire for a properly functioning modern society. The Sultan system is being used for narrow political ends, to the detriment of the institution and the long-term legitimacy of government. This is the ultimate Sedition.
