To much talking not enough action.
These unfortunate people need help now.
Foreign aid funds should be re directed to our own people who are in need.

This country is forever dishing out money to country's far better off than we are. I say look after our own first, then if there is any left over then give abroad to
those that really need it , exclude the likes of India etc.

Considering the terrible times because of financial difficulties numerous families are suffering here in England it is just absolutely wrong to be so profligate in so-called foreign aid spending.Consider also the very basic premise of having a percentage of gross income as an amount for foreign aid spending,"we have a target sum lets spend it to the full!" There is just so much wrong with the management of this country should a person try and understand it despair would definitely be the only outcome.Enough for now1

Charity begins at home. As long as our people are well looked after via NHS etc then and only then send money abroad.

Charity begins at home. Why do we give to Countries that clearly seem to hate us. We also seem to give to Countries who say they do not want our money.

It is about time the government realized that when the country is out of debt and our people here are well catered for, especially over these dreadful floods, then, and only then, can we consider giving aid to other countries. If only we had a PM who was strong enough to stand up for this country, he would have a landslide in 2015!!

Help the people in this country before giving our money to overseas aid,it never gets to where it is supposed to go anyway.

I have been waiting for Daily Mail to begin this petition - now you have done it I hope we are successful. We should stop sending aid to countries like India who have already told us they dont't need our money. Our people do - charity begins at home. Well done Daily Mail.

A total reappraisal of the whole of the overseas aid system should be carried out as the majority of the electorate totally disagree with the obscene amounts given away when we are ourselves in a monetory crisis Charity begins at home

No more overseas aid should be sent until our river and water systems infrastructure is up to date.

Charity must begin at home households flooded will not only need money for house repairs but also the replenishing of household items and indeed all that makes a home.

Certainly the over seas aid moeny should go to help flood victims, especially that which is donated to the countries that can afford space programrs.

Now is the time for Cameron to save the country, by stopping ALL Foreign Aid and transferring it to paying for the UK floods. After all we have all paid for it with our taxes, BUT does he have the b....?
