They are often aggressive when you say no to them washing windows and they are a hazard and nuisance on the road. They use intimidation tactics and I believe that they often look for valuables for smash and grab as there have been several while they are there.

As a former resident of Edenvale, i used to be a member of the Edenvale CPF. I would address the issue of the window washers at least on a monthly basis and only ever got excuses from Ms McKenzie and the members of the EMPD. They are unwiĺling to do anything about the problem because they have "nothing to charge" the window washers with and just have to let them go again. Never mind the fact that it's actually illegal to sell things in the street. The problem the commander of the EMPD had with the idea of conducting a raid was that the window washers "run away when they see us". Bad guys run away from cops. You might have to chase them. Or come in an unmarked car. Do something. I'm so sick of weak excuses.

I go through this intersection every day and am always very alert and nervous. These guys get quite aggressive when you wave the off.

My wife and I both use the road with the windows washers, and there is no way to stop them from harassing you when you stand at the robot waiting. If you do try and stop them you too scared of it escalating into violence or ending up with a dirtied windows by them you can't see through.

I signed because I don't like them doing this. It is unnecessary for them to wash our windows. If I want my window washed, I would do it myself or go to a car wash. It angers me that they think they can make a living like this, forcing me to give my hard earned money away for dirty water and a rag on my already clean windscreen. GET OUT. NO. That's just one reason. The second reason they need to go is because I feel UNSAFE. I feel unsafe in my own car. Im not ok with that. I really hope we can be rid of them soon. If they were there as public protectors keeping us safe from criminal activity, I would have no problem with them being there. But they are clearly not. Too much crime is happening on this road.

I am harrassed daily at this robot when leaving work. It's so bad that I feel sick when driving onto that intersection. I feel sorry for these guys but I am tired of being scared there

I have also had issues with these window washers. When I go to that area I stop at least 8 cars space away from the robots so that I am too far away for them to get to my car. There should be a petition signed for the window washers at Bruma too. They are violent and abusive.

when I moved to greenstone the Window washers were just an irritation. However that was 2 years ago since than they have become more than an irritation, due to the fact that a lot of them are extremely aggressive and try to intimidate motorists. For me it has gotten to the point where I do not feel safe stopping at some of the robots around the greenstone/modderfontein area.

I drive past that robot every afternoon and they just do not take no for an answer. I travel alone through there and it is dangerage fir a woman alone.
