Relocation of Window Washers on Modderfontein Road

We the undersigned residents of Greenstone and frequent visitors of Greenstone Shopping Centre and surrounding areas. Hereby request JMPD in conjunction with the Department of Social Development, to assist the window washers currently located on Modderfintein Road Cnr Van Riebeck, in finding suitable homes or care and in cases where there is substance abuse, to introduce the necessary remedial action.

As motorists, we are forced to interact with the growing population of window washers on a daily basis, In many cases these individuals have a clear disregard for ones property and are extremely aggressive when they are engaged. The fear for our safety as well as our property is widespread and our plight has fallen on deaf ears.
