Put Elvis Presley 's name back
.There was no reason to ever take it off.
Elvis Presley was responsible for it being made possible. There will never be a more caring and giving man than him. And by the way do you not remember how sick he was.
Go back and look at him , if you can not tell he had health problems you are plain stupid. No on ever knows. Till The Walk In The Other Man's Shoe's.
Put Elvis Presley name back . You should be ashamed of yourself .

Put Elvis Presley name Back.  It would never have been there without Elvis.  Elvis was a sick man . Go back and look at him good in the last concerts and pictures .  He took medicine not DRUGS .  The Dr have to him.

Elvis kept singing for us knowing he was to sick to be out there .

Stop all this crap. And put his name back .

Elvis Presley was the most caring and Hibbing man in the whole world . Give him some credit .

I promise you you Could Never Walk in His Shoes.

Elvis's name should be reinstated for his contribution in getting the USS Arizonia built.

I was lucky enough to see the Arizona in 1979, before Elvis' name was removed. It filled me with pride to know how much he did to make the memorial possible. Elvis was an amazing human being who changed the world of music, but he also had a huge humanitarian heart. He should never have been removed from this honor and tribute to him. He made it possible for this to be built because of the show he did to raise that money. Please replace his part in this beautiful memorial.

Elvis was a very respectful gentleman and a generous humanitarian who was always helping others . The USS Arizona Memorial was very important to him, as he was extremely patriotic.

Every one has their problems. If you should look into the life's of everyone listed on the USS, how many of them would have a spotless background? Let the man rest, acknowledge him for all the good he did.

I think that Elvis mistakes should not take away from his contributions to the Memorial.. If we take down names of individuals that made mistakes we could take Richard Nixons name off . He made many mistakes as commander and chief.

This man deserves his name to be reinstated on the Arizona!!! The broader message here is that he was human and made mistakes just as we all do but the good that this man done is far more than the bad!!!

This was a complete injustice to Elvis for all that he did for this memorial !! After two concerts he performed and raised the money to complete this memorial and donated all of the proceeds to get it done !!! What he did in his personal life should absolutely not have been a motive to remove his name !! He also was an Army veteran !!! I will not ever go to Hawaii until his name is restored with dignity and respect !!! He was and still is The Greatest Entertainer Ever and even in death continues to donate money to his charities and provides many employment opportunities to many people in Memphis Tn. and Tupelo, Ms. and around the world !!!!

I find it sad that the Governor made such an unthoughtful decision of removing Elvis' name on the USS Arizona. Bearing in mind Elvis Presley's commitment and the sacrifices he made to his home country and the people of the United States. Elvis gave so much to humanity and does not deserve to be ridiculed like that.
Maybe they should have waited for us to die, before they can disgrace Elvis' name.
