Bare knuckle boxing is for a fact safer than boxing & mma
It needs bringing out of the underground
Bbad company are trying to do this with 8!succsesful shows but have had the ninth stopped by mps who when we as a group have looked at who is trying to stop it
There only the mp who fiddles expenses n doesn't know what the hell he's talking about regarding fighters safety at bbad events or the facts surrounding the safer aspect of the sport

Well done to all of the promoters that have so far held safe & well organised events. It's about time they were helped to continue to do so and keep one of the oldest sports in the world thriving.

current actions to stop bare knuckle fighting is a disgrace. Andy Topliffe has worked diligently to make the sport safe and bring it up from the underground. At the end of the day MMA and current day boxing have been proven to be more detrimental to health. I stand by the re introduction of this noble sport to brought back to the mainsteam.

People are entitled to earn or entertain however they see fit... It's called free will!
This sport hurts nobody and helps people release

I am a BKB promoter, manager and coach, I own Raging Bull BKB. I have been involved with Boxing for over 30yrs and can say with all honesty that this sport is safer than gloved fights and even more so MMA.

BkB is safer than gloved boxing yes there's more superficial damage but there is no movement to the brain which is caused by gloves

I have been to these B-Bad Promotions and they are professional events with the fighters welfare being the primary concern. Gentlemen Promoters with Gentlemen Fighters and a loyal fan base with friendly crowds at every event including Ladies too. The shows in London were probably the safest nights out I have been to in over 20 years, with the most positive energy in the crowd and great unity with people from all over the country and Europe too meeting for the first time to enjoy this great sport. For someone not connected to the sport it is like going to Scotland and seeing the Lock Ness Monster every time ! However the Monsters are not in the ring or crowd here but the Monsters are the ones trying to stop these events going on.

BARE KNUCKLE BOXING IS A SPORT FULL OF RESPECT , TRADITION , AND DECENT PEOPLE WHO TAKE IT SERIOUSLY, DO NOT ALLOW FOR THIS SPORT TO BE PUSHED UNDERGROUND WHICH WOULD BE A BIG STEP BACKWARDS

Although it's not really my thing, I respect the rights of those who enjoy participating or watching this sport. Why should one killjoy spoil it for others? That's not fair.

I wish for BKB events to be approved fighting events by local politicians and councils.

Being an avid reader of BKB dating back many years, I'm delighted as a fan that BKB is on the up again.

I do believe there is a misconception to the overall aspects of BKB events. Myself, being involved in other fighting sports feel BKB shares similar respects and gentlemanly conducts alongside respected sports such as Muay Thai.

I'm concerned at the naivety of one politician who said these men were causing actual bodily harm on each other. i guess boxing, mma, kickboxing, rugby, martial arts (a variety) Muay Thai etc don't fall in to this actual bodily harm :s (confused).

Around 10 years ago there was scaremongering in the cage fighting scene. Largely because people who make or break these events (Councillors) put a stop to these events because they found it primitive and violent. Again, a sheer lack of understanding for what these events are about.

I see BKB taking it's place eventually, it's just a matter of time.
