Do not ban the under 16’s social media!

Hi there, it has come to my attention that users under 16 on social media platforms will be banned from using the apps. I find this very annoying, unnecessary and disappointing. I have had social media for years and i do not like the fact I am about to be kicked off from it after my hard work and dedication to build up my social media. A better idea would to make it for 13 and under, so that teenagers are able to watch, talk and enjoy social media as they grow into adults. It could also be used for educational purposes. I need updates, I need to talk to my family. If you’re worried about the mental health of young people, offer better support instead of taking away probably their only chance to communicate those who can help with mental health such as friends and family.
