Cancel Black Jesus

The purpose of this petition is to cancel the show created by Aaron McGruder and Mike Clattenburg which debuted August 7, 2014 on the Adult Swim network owned by Turner Broadcast. The show stars Gerald Johnson, Charlie Murphy, Corey Holcomb, Kali Hawk and John Witherspoon to name a few. I know jobs are hard to come by in every industry, but why do we African Americans have to sink to such lows to make a dime. Isn't there something’s we JUST WILL NOT DO??? Why lower yourselves to such Buffoonery??

I, for one, am offended that the creators, actors and sponsors actually wrote, created a script, obtained financing, held auditions, hired, filmed and distributed a series which should have NEVER been released. This show is about a black Jesus who wears a bad wig-wearing, uses profanity, gang bangs, smokes weed, drinks Hennessey hippy. The 10 commandments start with: 1. Thou shall not have no other gods before me and 2. Thou shall not MISUSE the LORD’s NAME in vain. Check out this clip: http://www.adultswim.com/videos/black-jesus. I CANNOT knowingly sit back and allow anyone to depict my GOD in such a manor. If I don't speak up, the rocks will cry out. Who will join me in this fight to have this show canceled? Where two or three are gathered together in JESUS name, we can make a difference and get this crap off the air.
