Bringing back the Coordinator position to the Child Nutrition Department

Dear Board Members of Berkeley County Board of Educations,

I hope this letter finds you well, We are writing this on behalf of the Child Nutrition Professionals and the Point of Service / Adminstrative Professionals of Berkeley County Schools. To address a very critical issue facing the operations of the School Breakfast and Lunch program. We have recently been told that the coordinator, Lewis Harden position has been removed due to re-structuring the school division.

Mr. Harden has played a key role in the Child Nutrition Department for many years. He has the knowledge of our technology equipment and programs that others do NOT.

This decision will affect all Berkeley County Schools, and the amount of revenue brought in through the Breakfast and Lunch Program, therefore we are starting this petition to urge you to act and address this issue. Your support will be crucial in bringing back the Coordinator position along with Mr. Lewis Harden.We ask you to consider our request and take immediate action to make this positive change.
