Bad News
Unfortunately I must report that at the recent Pharmacy Practices Committee hearing at NHS Lothian; our application was once again refused.
The reasons were very similar to the previous hearing; the Committee wrongly judged a new pharmacy as a matter of CONVENIENCE rather than necessity.
Most distressing of all: the petition which we have all signed was EXCLUDED from the Committee's consideration because it "contained personal information"! - This is completely unacceptable and form part of our appeal.
We have submitted another appeal to the National Appeals Panel.
Please share the petition with as many as you can, and feel free to contact NHS Lothian directly, or your Councillor, MP or MSP.
