Abolish Thetford Academy Hair Dye Rule

At Thetford Academy many students and staff are told that they can not dye their hair in non natural colours.

I feel as the school is discriminating the students and that they cannot express themselves as human beings as it's against the school rules.

But why should we all look the same and be identified as students at Thetford Academy from our identies as a human being.

The 21st century is a time we can express ourselves not to be forced by others to tell us what to do!

More information.

In the human rights declaration it's states in article 26

~ everyone has the right to education. Education shall be free at least in the elementary and fundamental stage.

education shall be directed to the full development of the human personality and to the strengthening of respect for the human rights and fundamental freedoms.it shall promote understanding , tolerance and friendship among all nations.Racial or religious groups and shall futher the activities of the United Nations for the maintenance of peace.

The Thetford Academy takes pride in our education and it's vertues but to discriminate a young adult because of their hair and then send them to transit is denying them the right to be in class and the right to learn. In life qualifications are valued but in the 21st century employers look for fresh educated adults  who can do their job just like anyone else.
