We need a safe pedestrian crossing on Rooley Avenue
It is past time for people to safely be able to cross Rooley Avenue between Odsal stadium and Richard Dunns. Currently he has to cross Cleckheaton road and then use the subway.
Especially after a match at odsal it is difficult and dangerous to traverse this road to get to the car park. It is impossible for my husband to do this with his mobility scooter as there is no drop kerb and the raised grass in the middle.
A permanent solution is needed as even when the Bulls pay for the road to be closed it doesn't help people with mobility problems or prams/pushchairs.
This could be met even with a basic zebra crossing.
Please support me in this petition to the council to improve the safety of this community with a predestrian crossing for this end of Rooley Avenue
