From my grandad being the physio in the 60s & 70s he raised the family as reds. I’ve watched my families hearts break this season as well as the players and other loyal fans too.

I was born in Hope Hospital into two long time Salford families. We moved down south when I was a child but we went “home” at every opportunity. First thing on arriving was to look in the Reporter to see where we were playing. My Uncle Herewood was club treasurer back in the days at the Willows. I am 66 years old and still follow The Red Devils along with my sons and grandchildren.
For me The Red Devils are more than a just a team playing a game.
They are a community, tradition, a reminder of roots for people like me to proudly share with my growing family.
