Request for Open and Public Random Selection of Judges
With this petition, we want to achieve public and civil support of the request for an open and public selection of judges of the Supreme Administrative Court (SAC) in the case of Corporate Commercial Bank. This will be only the first step in proving the correctness and transparency of the judicial system in Bulgaria.
Because of doubts about the possible manipulation of the procedure during the so-called "Random selection" procedure all applicants, ambassadors of the EU countries in Bulgaria, the President, the President of the National Assembly, the National Ombudsman, members of the Supreme Judicial Council, the Attorney General, Minister of Justice, as well as journalists, have been invited to attend the selection.
Accede to the request of this petition will show whether the Bulgarian judiciary is open, transparent and impartial, or continues to be the brainchild of action behind the scenes.
We need the reform of the judiciary to be real, not only on paper!
