Petition to remove MOE school boys hair restriction
- hair does not affect our studies and MOE is suppressing our rights of our own body
- boys should be able to choose their own presentation for people and not be forced to cut their hair against our will
- hair for boys are one of the only major factors that can change our appreance and this opportunity is being stripped away from us.
- the hair rules set by MOE is harsh and causes us to look unpresentable or attractive in and outside of school premises
- gender equality must be addressed and girls are only required to pin up their hair. This is unfair as they get to choose their appearance while boys have to permanently alter our hairstyle just to fit in.This unjust and boys should be able to choose our own presentation.
- This hair rule is prejudice and can affect our mental wellbeing
- Not everyone prefers or fits short hair styles and this rule that's being implemented affects our confidence in public and might cause self harm
- Having ugly hair can also promote bullying as not everyone fits the hairstyle appointed by MOE and schools
