Petition summary and background



Safety concern because of no streetlights or sidewalks on  Rice Street from Vadnais Boulevard to Gramsie Road. This street is dark at  night making it harder to see pedestrians, bikers, skateboarders, roller  bladers. Also Rice Street has heavy traffic flow and a high speed limit of  40-45 mile per hour. A solution to help the safety of the people that use this  road, we should install streetlights and build a sidewalk.

We, the undersigned, are concerned citizens who urge our  leaders to act now to install street lights and build a sidewalk on Rice  Street from Vadnais Boulevard to Gramsie Road now instead of years from now.
