Petition against the vitamin ban
On 1 October 2015 Legemiddelverket for most practical purposeses introduced a ban on all private import of food supplements to Norway.
Under the new rules, one must have a physicians prescription, and the supplement must be marketed in Norway if you want to import it from abroad for personal use.
We consider it scandalous that the Norwegian health authorities want to deprive Norwegians the right to decide over their own health.
The right to follow leading research in health rather than being forced to follow the govermental health boards recomadations with questionable scientific basis.
We demand that health authorities revoke the ban and give us back the right to decide over our own bodies and health!
