Make menstrual products (pads & tampons) free at the HZ University of Applied Sciences

For women, menstruation can be a significant burden and an inconvenience. This discomfort in addition to the menstrual pain is considered to have a negative effect on both attendance and participation in class. Moreover, women can have a harder time engaging fully in school activities if they are forced to stay at home due to insufficient menstrual hygiene materials, unsupportive environments, fear of a menstrual accident and embarrassment especially when it arrives unexpectedly. These pains can be relieved by making menstrual products accessible and affordable for students/ teachers which will directly lead to them being less absent and more productive to get the best out of themselves.
