Keep the Bow Valley Parkway closed!

We are asking Parks Canada to keep the eastern 17km section of the Bow Valley Parkway (from Highway 1 junction to Johnston Canyon parking lot)

CAR-FREE FROM MAY TO THE END OF SEPTEMBER SEVEN DAYS A WEEK.

We don't think that the two proposed options go far enough because they do not include the busiest months of July and August.

We love this safe way of exercising and call on Parks Canada to keep providing this high-quality and environmentally friendly experience to locals and visitors forever.

The original initiative to close the Parkway last year was one of the best decisions Parks Canada has ever made!

Hundreds of people a day are using it and are having a LOT of fun. Why change that? 

P.S.  This 17km road closure does not deny access to any key services and accommodations along the parkway.
