FBFF9564-9C5A-4000-B68A-9C32ADC2298F.jpegPetition for my beloved brother Steven John Brown aged 32 who passed away June 30th 2019 on Goose Meadows Motocross Track in Rugby.
The owner of the track at the time is looking at a 5% chance of being held responsible of the death of my brother which would be totally unfair. This would be because the owner had no Marshall’s, no first aid and never told my brother to sign anything prior to being let onto the track, he was only told to pay a fee of £25 and off he went. Also the day after my brother died on this property the owner tried selling goose meadow track which then left us in total disbelief that anything would get done about this horrific accident. If anyone would like to take a deep look into this motocross track then they would clearly see why this tragedy of my brothers death happened as the track was in no fit state to ride on. The owner is now saying/trying everything in his will to say this was at no fault of his own which quite obviously had no health and safety carried out on this occasion or before hand before anyone rode on it.

So my point to this petition is the police have specifically asked myself and my family to try and do a plea to get a lot more information than we already have so we can bring justice for Stevens death. We as a family are crying out for help… we need pictures or even videos to show how dangerous this motocross track truly is, the police have also had their say on how health and safety wasn’t involved on that day. The owner of the track has deleted his page on Facebook so we can’t bring any evidence to this as that’s where evidence lay. We need anyone that has had any sort of accident or knows anyone that has had an accident on this track due to the condition it was in to please come forward so we have a solid case.
My brother Steven was an honest loving person and would do anything for anybody, he helped the homeless and also was involved in the Jesus centre in Coventry as this was a big part of his life. He was a beloved and cherished father of 6 children who are also going through this with no justice to bring to hand of 3 whole years and a loving brother, son and nephew that will be truly missed by many people.
I am a mother of 3 girls of which 2 of them used to go to motocross tracks with Steven but that has now all been taken away from them due to the passing of their idol uncle Stevie on such a dangerous and outrageous motocross track.
We want someone to take full responsibility for the passing of my brother and for the other person that was put into hospital with life threatening injuries all because this track was not fit for anybody. The owner didn’t succeed on selling the track as a buyer pulled out due to hearing of this incident so the owner then proceeded to rip the entire track up and now it remains as a field with nothing on it, we as a family are not allowed to have any of Stevens belongings that was left over as it is still undergoing evidence but the owner was allowed to rip up a complete track my brother died on?
We as a family are trying our absolute hardest to try and take this to the papers and every broadcaster out there. We were in court 3 days before Christmas last year and nothing got done about this.
This has been eating away at us as a falling for 3 whole years so I’m asking please anyone with any information to please come forward
