GREEN Charter School $50 rental fee for chrome books.

GREEN Charter School initiated a $50 "rental" fee in order for students to use the schools chrome books in school.  Each student is required to pay that fee, or they will not have use of the computers on campus.  Each student is required to take the computer home each night to charge it.  If the student (or parents) refuse to pay this "rental" fee, the student will not be allowed to use the chrome books during the day.  If the chromebooks are damaged while in the custody of the student, a $300 replacement fee will be charged.

This requirement places our students (and families) at risk and and the students of those families who cannot afford this fee at a distinct disadvantage.  There are other alternatives to this plan that would be more fair and equitable for our students.  If you disagree with this new policy, please sign this petition.
