Our baby was born at Raigmore on 2nd February 2011. She was very poorly and needed to spend time in intensive care at SCBU. Mum also had to have some general surgery as well. In total we were at Raigmore for 7 days. The care my family received in the maternity wards was second to non. Some things are more important than profits and balance sheets. Any plan to cut beds and therefore chip away at patient care should be fought.
