Sign language not only useful for children with special needs it is also essential in teaching typically developed children... it helps all of them to develop language, communicate their needs, acquire academic skills in a meaningful and motivating way... it should be available for the deaf community and children with special and additional needs... the same way the Braille is available for visually impaired

soy profesora de educacion diferencial sorda actualmente trabajo con integracion y me alegro saber que existe este sitio pues hay mucha ignorancia respecto a las personas sordas y su educacion por parte de los oyentes quienes piensan que "oralizandolos" seran mejores personas y no aceptan la realidad aceptando la lengua de señas como la lengua natural de las personas sordas ojala esto ayude.

I am a college student taking my first steps into Deaf Culture and when I read about the 1880 Second International Congress of the Deaf I could hardly believe it. All I can say is that this petition is the right thing to do. I hope it can truly convey the need for world wide sign language as an educational method for the deaf.

Es completament necessari q els nens/es anb deficiéncia auditiva tinguin al seu abast la LSC per poder comprendre i arribar a tots els objectius educatius com els seus companys oïdors.

Ho dic amb coneixement del tema.He treballat amb nens/es sords 36 anys de la meva vida professional i des que ens varen deixar utilitzar la LSC he estat la persona més feliç treballant.

io sono convinto dell'efficacia delle lingue dei segni nelle scuole perchè sto facendo una tesi sull'argomento e ho visto con i miei occhi l'integrazione dei bambini sordi con quelli udenti.

me reflexion panser como te cuento porq deben señar cosas todos como deben tu y yo comnunicacion como analizar señar contecto siempre muxo pero porque deben aprender palabra.señar. etc.... futuro lider hablilidad mas deben importante señar alguno sordo personajes muxo sus sientir quiero señar aprender parcticar muxo mejores la vida comunidad de sordo deben derecho muy jovenes....

Ja es hora de que cadascu pugui utilitzar aquella llengua i/o metode que millor s adapti a la seva situacio, amb total llibertat. Ni millor ni pitjor, sencillament diferent.

Deaf students should have the right to use a langage better for them to understand in educational programs. Sign language should be allowed in schools.
