Right to use sign language in educational programmes

Basic Human Rights
The right to communicate is a basic human need and a right for all as this the right to an education. Communication comes in all forms including speech and sign language....and learning doesn't just occur through the written word or through speech but through sight and our senses.
It is sad that this is even an issue that requires petitions and lobbying at all.
This should just be a given and should just happen.
Human beings have the right to life, liberty, and peace. If Sign Languge is one of these, by golly let this beautiful language be taught in school, languages are not all balck and white just because we can hear.

It's about time we get this petition to recognize our sign language.
It is wrong to deny children education from other languages...
I feel this ban is wrong and I hope this signiture of mine will make a difference, so my family can enjoy educational t.v. with ASL. I feel if they can teach other languages on television, why not American Sign Language. It makes no sense for it to be this way and we should right this wrong they made.
I thik it's very important for our culture to use sign language in educational programmes, hugs every deaf persons, coda, friends and families

Equal opportunities
I am quite in favour of equal opportunities in widest sense of the words.
We should never treat people with physical or mental challenges differently because of the extra needs they might have in some areas.
Naturally we should continuously operate in an cost-effective way but if there is no other option to compensate the challenges with solutions which will make the difference so why should we then hesitate doing so?
The same for those who need to absorb information via sign language. We know all that it is a fact that without a proper set of information we cannot guarantee a reliable decision making process. And information absorption is absolutely key to hearing impaired individuals who can't without that to follow up on things.
Given the fact that deaf students or people could have talent to excel and contribute into the working community I would certainly insist on providing opportunities to them to absorb information with help of sign language interpreters in educational circumstances.
Let them excel their performance this way!

Sign language
How can this still be an issue? How can anyone question the rights of another to use their natural language?

Communication
Deaf or hearing impaired people should have the right to access all forms of communication available.
All areas of development would be improved, especially social skills.
