There has still not been a game with the type of smooth gameplay and range of motion and movement that SOF2 brought to the table. Payback was a joke, and not even games like black ops hold a candle to it. If you want to take down the SOF2 servers, make a real SOF3 first. The amount of money you would make is insane. People still play because there is nothing as good. If you made a newer version even based on the same engine people would eat it up. You can't just give people candy and take it away without something to replace it with. Release a real SOF3. Then take the SOF2 servers down.
