i find it appauling that schools are allowed to close due to strike and refuse our children an education in the name of money and yet families are not allowed to take their children on holiday unless they can afford to do it at prime rated times. this means that we are driving a wedge between the poor and the rich. also some firms will not allow staff to pick holiday dates and can only take holidays at times given. where is the justice and fairness in that.

The schools should be more flexible. Holiday firms & airlines are going to increase the prices further, making going for a holiday so expensive.

Every responsible parent has the right to decide what's good for their kid.
10 days leave should be made available to every parent. Just make term time 10 days longer.
