It's important for the children of both schools to have one designated head in each plus one SENCO in each.

I think it is unfair the the children's education and social skills, also teachers, and teaching assistants eat will be with their jobs.

We need as many signatures as possible. They have made this public very last minute as they know how hard it is to get a petition going and to be successful. Camden is being made to make major cuts ... And Torriano is now one of them! We all need to come together and make a stand! We need support from the community, councillors, press etc. The school needs our support and we literally only have a few weeks!

I attended both Torriano Infants and Junior Schools and both provided me with unique and invaluable experiences as specialised individually for their age groups.
The teachers and head teachers were able to focus on the very different needs that infant and Junior students have and provide a nurturing and knowledgeable environment for those varied developmental needs.

I am ever grateful for my time at both schools and believe that to merge the schools would be detrimental to the long standing success of the individual schools and the students and families they educate and support.

My children and brother in law attended and currently attend I think the school will lose its panache and the children will suffer greatly I think little ones are safer playing and learning in separate schools.

A lot of jobs would be lost the children will suffer the loss of teachers they trust most schools have become academy's I'm not sure all schools should this school is working being 2 why fix something that isn't broken

As a parent to two children, one who has already gone through Torriano, the other currently at the Junior School, I am pro merger. This is a fantastic opportunity and collaboration and continuation of a great friendship between the two schools, it appears to me like a natural progression and parental collaboration, teaching, and connecting the two schools even further? I think that we are loosing sight that it would give all the community, most importantly the children across both the schools shared experiences and the opportunity to share their experiences and skills. There is a wealth of knowledge and experience across both Infants and Juniors that could offer access to extended services and facilities to Torriano children And their families who will benefit from a wider range of resources and improved staff development. As with most mergers there will be resistance to change but we should embrace this opportunity and be happy that this discussion is happening.
