Save teddy from being put down

That dogs muzzle is too long and narrow to be a Pit Bull.

I think the people who think Teddy is a Pit has never seen either an American Pit Bull Terrier nor an American Staffordshire Terrier. Neither of which are inherently viscous dog breeds. My own dog, a pure bred Australian Stubby Tail Cattle Dog, has features that make him look like a cross with either of the terrier breeds mentioned above. Teddy has a sweet face, which like many of the dog breeds have similar features. Teddy's American Bulldog features are a little softer and he doesn't have the muscle mass, at least in the pictures I have seen, but he has the conformation. 

I think that the Chairman is stupid and is just being cruel. To both Teddy and his little person.

My husband says that if you don't get Teddy back, he'd come and show him how it feels. He would visit upon this man everything he has done to Teddy willingly. Especially if Teddy is killed by this worm of a guy. 

On a note from myself. If he kills Teddy. He should be nuetered and stuck in a cage. Then after the same amount of time, give him the same poison or shot. Make sure he sees it coming too.

I would never take someone stealing and hurting my dog laying down. They'd find out what it means to face down a marine's wife and her devil dog husband. Semper Fidelis!

We don't condemn humans to death based solely on skin color or country of origin or class of origin (in other words, based on breed) - well, generally we don't. We shouldn't condemn dogs to death on the basis of genetics either. Teddy has no history of aggression. He has a home and a family that loves him. The traumatic damage to the child that lives with Teddy should give you pause even if the basic ethics of the situation do not. Do the right thing: leave Teddy be.
