Save teddy from being put down

I signed because no innocent dog should be killed when they've done nothing wrong & especially they shouldn't be killed because of being "suspected" of being a banned breed which in itself is utterly ridiculous. This is a travesty. The officials involved in this should be a shamed of themselves.

you cannot judge on race, that is racism and in holland racism is a crime

It's disgusting how they are treating this poor boy he shows no sign of violence what so ever and yet people who know nothing about him sentence him to death vile people

The dog should be able to be back with his family. Not every pitbull is a bad dog. He hasn't even showed any aggression. Not even 100% certain he is pitbull.

why kill an innocent dog that has never done any harm, and is loved by its family ?
in holland we also had this crazy law and then, after a few years the ban was lifted: 1000s innocent dogs killed.
most incidents are not pitbulls, but golden retrievers in holland

This is an out rage that the government can take your dog without a incident and tell u how to raise your children and what is safe for your children. I am never going to Sweden for this reason.

I'd like to know if he was taken strictly because of the breed they thought he was? This makes me so sad. A dog should not be considered a dangerous dog until it does something to be deemed dangerous! BSL is an outrage which I am extremely embarrassed about that in today's society such narrow minded people exist.

I signed this petition because I am a dog lover, believe in the love that a person can have with a dog, believe that with love and respect that a dog can be as sweet as Teddy is and believe that it is not the government's business what goes on in a home with or without children. This is ludicrous and I would be devastated if someone took my dog from me because of a prejudice that has been unfairly assigned to this dog!

There's no reason to destroy a harmless dog. The court is ignorant,

To take a pet away from his family just because you think he maybe a certain breed without any cause just shows how ignorant the judge is.

I am sitting on the bed with my "pit bull" practically laying on my lap. Even if this dog is part pit bull or all pit bull for that matter, they are the sweetest my loving dogs around. We also have another dog who is also named Teddy. I cannot imagine life without either of my wonderful dogs. I feel so sorry for this poor family. And what a horrible thing for this child to have to through.

I have 3 dogs,and they're not just dogs,they're MY dogs, plus one has gotten in trouble with other dogs but just loves little kids, a fight would ensue if anyone would try and take one!

am a petparent myself and i understand the relationship of pet and human, its one of unconditional love on both parties, i have three myself and their my kids.

The Magistrate Geoff Earl is an ignorant menace to society and animal life, and hence should be put down before Teddy.

What a bunch of morans! I suggest the man who decided the dog needs to be put down, should be put down himself. The world would probably be a better place for not having stupid people like him on the planet.

There is no case that has been logically made to show evidence that Teddy is dangerous.

I love dogs. I have 3 boy dogs ages 1, 5 and 5 1/2 years and my neighbor's kids come and play with them every day. They have never bitten anybody. If you do put Teddy down, you will need proof or you will be doing a criminal act.

Why would you destroy a dog with no vicious history? Do you honestly think a loving parent would jeopardize their child? Politics do not need to be in peoples homes. Instead of witch hunting dogs, how about fighting crime instead? Or is that too hard and you are taking the easier road? You should be ashamed!
