Save teddy from being put down

Clearly the people keeping this man and his family from bringing their beloved dog home, are uneducated to say the least. It is ignorance that creates these laws, and an unwillingness to look past stubborn misconception at FACT. Open your god damn eyes people! These are lives that you are effecting. Not only the family's, but that of their loving dog. Clearly the dog is a sweetheart! CLEARLY. Banning dogs by breed is absolutely ludicrous and the laziest way possible to deal with an issue, lumping them all into one "vicious" category. Pull your heads out!

I was attacked by a pittbull, he was raised bad. I then adopted a pitt and it was our families best decision. Best Love and life. They are not all bad...period. It is about how they are raised or provoked, everyone knows this.

Because you are doing and injust to this puppy, first of all you can tell it is not a PITTBULL, second, it has never bitten or attacked anyone, and third, this is considered animal cruelty, until and only until this puppy attacks anybody then you should put an animal down, but it has done nothing but love its owner, please let him live, he deserves this!

I find it completely ridiculous to not only take this loving member of a family away from them but to suggest killing him to prevent him from potentially harming the daughter who loves him. What kind of example are you setting here??! Seems to me that you would be showing support for discrimination and unprovoked violence and essentially promoting unjustifiable murder.

I had a pit bull growing up and he used to pull me around on my go-cart everywhere as a kid and was loyal until the end.

I believe that dangerous dogs are only a threat if they are made and encouraged to be that way.

i believe that it is wrong for them to destroy an animal just because it is a pitbull. if the owner says the dog is safe to be around his child then so be it. this man has had this dog since it was a puppy I think he knows it much better than those who are trying to destroy it. thank goodness such laws don't apply to human beings! oh wait....maybe they do!

The pictures Tom has provided showing that Teddy is in no harm of his daughter, as they are laying together and playing. People need to understand that animals/pets are in fact part of one's family, and taking family away from one another is a cruel act. This is by far inhumane and should be taken a closer look into, this dog should in no way shape or form be taken away from this family nor be put done for it has done absolutely nothing during it's life.

I will never spend one dollar of my tax payer money in your city if Teddy is put down. I have had a pit bull for yeas and he's around my baby nieces and nephew and they adore her. My pit has also never bit or her anyone EVER! It's quite the opposite. My pit has been attacked by 2- dogs and has never bit back. She walked away. She been attacked by neighbors with sticks and has never done anything to anyone. She has been docile and obedient! My pit is alway around kids. Please do not harm her. Send her to another city where pits are acceptable if needed.
