Breed specific bans are abhorrent. Each case should be judged on the evidence of aggressive behavior. Teddy does not meet any of the logical evidence of aggression. Please save Teddy!!!

Because animals shouldn't be discriminated against for a breed they might or might not be. This is no different than people being discriminated against for their race or religion.

Teddy hasn't done anything wrong and has been taken from his home illegally. He's not a Pit bull either. Look at the photo with there faces touching one another and just showing love . He's NOT A PIT BULL. GET IT.

This blanket ban against certain breeds makes me sick. There are so many factors to take into account when assessing a dogs threat level. Clearly there is not a single reason that poor Teddy should be put down. They have locked him up without any evidence. Where is their proof that he is a danger to the child?

The whole thing is devastating

I signed this petition because I have absolutely no doubt what so ever these dogs are being murdered for no reason and families are being ripped apart by it! Why do you think these dogs are more dangerous than say a Doberman or Rottweiler or Alsatian....no dog is born bad...so why kill the innocent? No dog should be murdered because of his looks alone!

Teddy should not have to suffer for people being scared of a breed. Animals are like humans we are not all the same. They may look alike but personalities are very different. He has not done any harm do not kill him!!

La décision d'une euthanasie est absurde. N'importe quel chien, de n'importe quelle race peut infliger une morsure à un enfant. J'ai été mordue par deux fois, à l'age de trois ans, puis à l'age de sept ans. Un caniche et un chien de chasse. Malgré tout je n'aurai pas souhaité qu'il soit euthanasiés. Mes parents n'ont même pas portés plainte contre les propriétaires, ils savaient que c'était eux les responsables. le risque zéro n'existe pas. J'espère que Teddy ne sera pas euthanasié. Courage à la famille.

It is blatant breed discrimination that in itself is completely wrong headed and without merit. Teddy belongs to a family, and though a sentient being, is still their property. And as such, Teddy was stolen. Return him to his rightful owners.

You can't destroy a loving animal "just in case" it might turn out to be a danger. All dogs have that capability even a Labrador could be dangerous to a child. Obviously the owner knows his dog is not a danger

Why put an innocent Animal to sleep when he's not showed any aggression towards anyone..It is absolutely disgraceful to end this dogs life when he is a much loved docile pet....He is no more a danger to anyone than any other dog, no matter what breed..
