Save teddy from being put down

I feel that it's the owner that is the danger NEVER the dog! Let Teddy home!!

This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard of! Sad when they order a dog put down that has done nothing to warrant it! How about starting on pedophiles and child killers instead! Why are they allowed to live and not this poor sweet dog? Get your priorities straight!

Humans are allowed innocent until proven guilty why not the dog?

I signed because it is wrong to take him from his home, based on some ludicris law. If this law were applied to humans, you would have to execute on skin color or suspicion they might do harm.

I sign the pettion because i am a animal lover and know dogs since i was very young .I believe it all depends how you raised them and treat them with love and care.You wont have agressive dogs if they are treat like this family tret their dog!!!.

Some Police departments are now using Pitt Bull dogs on their K-9 force and they commented in interviews that they are safe, loyal, intelligent, resourceful, easy to train and better natured than the German Shepherds. So if they are safe enough to be used as Police K-9 dogs, how can anyone else choose to destroy this lovely sweet and comforting dog, taking him from his own family who love him??? This is, after all, still AMERICA, not Iran!!!

Because I have owned Pittbulls all my life, own three right now, around my children and grandchildren, and they are truly marvelous dogs! They would give their own lives to protect children!

Breed Specific Legislation is unnecessary. Any animal person understands this.

Its like saying that all Uncles are banned from being around their nieces and nephews because someone else's uncle once hurt their family.

The fact that he has no other options are ridiculous. He is willing to go bankrupt, I bet he would be willing to move out of the area/jurisdiction in order to get his loved one back. But it doesnt appear to be an option...

I think it's wrong to slate a whole breed of dogs for these dogs not receiving the care or training they needed from there owners, the breed should have been properly placed with the right owners that would have treated them right and trained them properly. This dog has no record and clearly been well looked after shows no sign of bad behaviour, what was the point in tax payers money and police time in behaviour checks if they were not going to take any notice of the results and condem the dog to death purely because of breed not its traits or results. It's upsetting that people were able to get away with miss treating this breed and not taking proper steps to train correctly for them all to be condemned wth the same brush!!!
