Teddy should be treated on an individual basis of judgment, on the advise from vets, officers in the holding compound, his owners and his own unblemished behaviour. Everything should be done to keep this healthy, loved domestic companion in his home where he is trusted, loved and happy.

This dog has done nothing wrong and was illegally apprehended by the police, and due to its race its been condemned to be put to sleep. If it had done something wrong sure but not when its innocent. Even animals have rights too.

Loving family pet needs to return home to his loving family. Teddy has done no harm, he's a family member! I see this as unfair and a total outrage. Shame on the law! Teddy's destruction must be lifted!!

The dog is innocent and soft never shown any aggression and been a totally faithful friend to the little girl and her parents. I feel that his owners would be responsible enough to do something if Teddy ever changed his behaviour in any way at all. There are people been bitten on a regular basis that are not this breed and it is down to irresponsible owners. So I feel he deserves a chance he has more than proved he is safe. Good luck Teddy xx

Dogs should never be discriminated on breed and should definitely not have to be removed from the comforts of home because of legislation that should never exist. All animals deserve people to stand up and be their voice.

Seen a picture of him. He looks nothing like a pit bull. I don't like pit bulls. This isn't a pit bull.
