Save Tater The Service Dog.

I signed this petition because Tater deserves to live. All of the information provided has been hard to believe. Tater went through training to be a service dog. This is the first time we have heard that he is aggressive. Please save Tater and give him a chance!

can the rescue not come and get Tater? I have read she won't surrender Tater to the rescue, but the rescue should have some say in this as well, I would think.

This is a sad situation. I hope and pray that Tater survives this. Mental illness is an awful and ugly disease and I pray she gets the help she needs.

Following Tater's page I have never seen any proof of what Amaya is claiming about him. In this case since he was adopted he should be immediately returned to the rescue for proper evaluation and out of the hands of a mentally unstable 16 year old.

if there is an offer for help for this dog, I don't understand why the owner will not accept it and relinguish ownership. I think the dog deserves his chance

Because no healthy animal should be put to sleep because it's owner is lying about it and wanting another animal. It's just wrong you don't get rid of one just to get another.

Poor Tater Tot! His teenage "owner" wants another dog and has been told she can only have one dog. Her answer is to find a way to get rid of Tater Tot that will make her feel better about her actions. Shame on her and shame on her family for allowing this to happen.

Please save Tater the service dog.

This child needs help. Please return the dog to the rescue he came from and not murder him. She is an attention seeker. Her parents need help as well.

Thank you! This is reprehensible. Didn't someone in the family (presumably an adult) sign an adoption contract that says Tater Tot must be returned to the rescue??

 

This is a 16 year old, making a decision that should be made by an ADULT. The rescue is willing to take the dog back with them, there should be no question in the matter. Period.

Because her story is fishy and she's been offered help and refuses. This isn't the first animal she's done this to. His life matters and he needs saved.

Because this sounds very sketchy in the details and the dog needs an advocate just like the young girl although 16 is not really ypung

Please give Tater back to the shelter where you got him. They will take him back!!! He is a service dog and does not deserve to die just because you are tired of him!!

Why should a 16 year old hold the fate of a dog I her hands. She doesn't know anything about life and she sure doesn't have any compassion for animals. Shame on you and shame on your family for allowing you to own a dog. Service dogs are special do not take that away from him. Give him a fair shot at life with a family that will actually care about his well being!

I signed this petition because I believe that all alternatives should be exhausted before euthanizing an animal. Other placements for this dog have been offered, but the owners seem set on killing this animal before giving him another chance.

Because I think Tater should be given a chance with someone else or a rescue. Everyone deserves a second chance at life instead of being PTS.

For the love of God , PLEASE DO NOT EUTHANIZE this dog unless that is an absolute last resort , & recommended by several veterinarians . It is NOT HIS FAULT what happened to him ! He needs love, understanding , compassion , & professional help, & patience . This is NOT something to be taken lightly ? You cannot bring him back - death is forever ! Are you prepared for the enormity of those feelings when you see him laying there after he took his last breath ? Have you done all that you could do for this beautiful boy ? Can you honestly look in the mirror each night & say " I have done all that I possibly can. I have left no stone unturned . I have no choice. I love him enough to release him from his personal demons , which WERE NO FAULT OF HIS! "
PLEASE , I BEG OF YOU , cancel that appointment ! Look into those beautiful eyes - he deserves that.
