Every village needs to keep its school, it is the hub of a community. Also I have done some supply teaching at Ebrington School and it is a great school.

both my children transferred to this school after dissatisfaction with my own village school....and both did brilliantly and had great care and attention!!! For heavens sake stop closing important schools!!!!

I am a former parent governor of Ebrington School, circa late 1980's. Like many I believe the school the shop and the pub are the heart and soul of a village and this school has served well for decades as part of the social glue of the community.

My nephew goes to this school and it would be a shame to close a fine institution that has such a historical significance in the village.

I know children there - they love it!!
ALSO ... be sensible! How can all these children be crammed into the Chipping Campden school? It is already pretty crowded there ... and many houses to be built!
Leave them in Ebrington!!! You have a truly wonderful situation!!!

I have been s regular visitor to Ebrington
A thriving meaningful village that needs its school for kids who are the next generation .City dwellers romanticise the countryside but if no one looks after it and lives there it dies.. Support the next generation support the school

Love this school!

Our nephew attends Ebrington Primary and he loves it! We always enjoy visiting the school when we come to Ebrington. It really is the heart of the community. It would be a terrible tragedy if it were closed. Schools really should be community based and not "Super-Sized" like here in the U.S. You can see all of the problems we have with violence and bullying when schools get too big and are no longer integrated among neighbors. Don't make our mistakes. Protect your villages and communities and keep this and other neighborhood schools open.

My daughter went to Ebrington school and it would be a tragedy for it to close. The arrogance of certain members of the board of governors in not consulting parents and ex parents of Ebrington pupils and their refusal to even attend public meetings about this issue shows serious disregard for the opinions of affected parties.

It's not just a good school, it's a great school. Shame on the "Governing Body" for giving up. Fancy trying to close your own school!? It's a thriving village that together, will not give up.

The school is vibrant,successful, happy and hugely supported by the community. There is no viable reason to close it.

Ebrington Primary School is a vital facility for both the present and the future of the local community.
It is a wonderful village school which provides a very good learning foundation for its pupils and prepares them for their next step on the education ladder.
Without a school Ebrington has no heart!

My brothers & I were educated at Ebrington School in the 1950,s along with the Haines boys from Hidcote Bartram, we had a wonderful time.

We must at all cost keep our village schools open.

This is a lovely school and they have really helped my daughter to catch up over the last 2 years. Don't want to lose this lovely school!

Local schools should be treasured amenities. Having to drive children to and from school not only deprives the children of making really "local" friends, it creates more and more traffic as all activities are spread further and further afield. This is bad for the environment and bad for communities and creates car dependence and often requires families to own two cars instead of one. What a waste of resources!

I attended this school and do not beehive it should be taken away. I had a good education and it helped me to get to where I am today!

This was my primary school. The school was and is very friendly and encouraging throughout my years there. I would not like to see the school disappear for no good reason. Small schools work!
