Bhagvatgita is nothing but "words of God" no one has power to ban it .....its ridiculous that our friend-nation is taking such steps & government of India is doing nothing

Bhagavad Gita should be read by all men. Its beneficial to everyone. It teach one how to know oneself, God, creation, law of material nature and time. Many great Spiritual teachers accept it like Pope John Paul etc.

I am truly outraged that there is even a need for this petition. To think of the sacred text of Bhagavad-gita being banned in the 21st century after it has been giving shelter to trillions of people over the last 5,000 years is saddening to say the least. Surely Russia's credibility will be damaged from this act.

I request Russian Government to thwart this move to ban Bhagavad-Gita. We revere this text as our holy scripture. This case seems to be ill designed to suit the wrong motives of bigots and is an attack on the fundamental right of freedom of religion. Please stop it from bringing undue disgrace to Russian democracy.

Is it digital age or stone age. If the World's oldest scripture is a terrorist book, then the World's oldest civilization would be a terrorist civilization. But its simply not true. India had been the most peaceful country in the world for thousands of years. Many invaders came but Indians never went out to conquer any body. This is because the philosophy of Bhagavad-gita is that of peaceful existence in the World and the World Beyond.

Please do not ban Srimad Bhagwad Gita, it will liberate entire human society from sinful reactions.

Please stop this. Bhagavad Gita is read by millions around the world for countless years. How can you stop people from reading this ancient text?

I find it to be a failure when a government fails to allow freedom of thought amongst its population. By infringing upon this inalienable HUMAN right, the result is animal life! If, in the course of a FREE thinking society, there manifests a concern for recognizing a Supreme power, the advantage to the Governmental Authorities SHOULD be: How do we best leverage this "FREE" energy; this social momentum, for the benefit of all our people??? For, by doing so, such an insightful Government would have the FULL support of their population; an energetic momentum for REAL progress!!!

Bhagavad Gita is a wonderful gospel, and demons can not appreciate it. It's natural. But somehow or other we need to give this transcendental knowledge to those who are wise and faithful. Whether they band BG or not, they can not stop people receiving this transcendental knowledge as it is the will of the Lord.
