The events in Turkey after the failed coup are absolutely horrible. Turkey has neveer been a full-fledged democracy, but it is now obvious that Turkey is on the road to dictatorship and state terror. The Turkish President, Mr. Erdogan, suffers from acute paranoia combined with a genuine hate towards democracy. Sahin Alpay has done nothing wrong, and I hope that he will be released as soon as possible.

I signed up because i do not like injustice, and the coup in Tyrkia was done because the government had shown unjustice against theyr one people. The president is a dictator and the democracy is trampeled on. i hope the best for you people. Erna Ingólfsdóttir
