Sheer madness a school in such a location (bend on the approach etc) and on such a busy road haven't got flashing lights yet

We need the flashing 40 signs badly . The road is so busy

I travel this route regularly and given the bend etc in road is a zone easy to miss.

It's an absolute DISGRACE that a Main Rd which is the coastal link to the Newcastle CBD from the Pacific Highway does not have ANY Flashing 40 km warning signs for the only school on it's route. There have already been two school children killed on this road and NOTHING has been done to prevent further deaths!! Given that the police regularly sit up there to catch speeders would that not be sufficient enough evidence to warrant these signs....or is it just a council cash cow!! Shame on the Roads and Authority and The Council for failing this school!!
