To subject animals to unnecessary pain is unforgivable and should NOT be allowed, ever!

This is absoultely horrifying, why on earth is this being allowed? It negates any good that might be obtained from this legislation

I cannot believe I am actually having to sign this petition - I mean, do we not live in a 'first-world country' in the 21st century? End this barbaric practice and let dogs be as nature intended them!

I thought tail docking was/is already banned, but our government make up their own laws as they go on....what a bunch of pathetic morons.

I'm utterly horrified that these procedures will be allowed to go ahead, and to think that they can be carried out without anesthetic by a non-qualified veterinary practitioner is beyond belief. We don't have to get down and graze with the cows, but we can have more respect for animals than this, surely.

I would be very afraid for my young children if this barbarity is to be allowed. If our country is to grow we need to grow as decent people and to do this we need to teach kindness by example.

It's an unnecessary act of cruelty. Ban it outright unless for genuine medical reasons.

If vets ar'nt allowed why should non-trained profecinals be able? This country is backwards in every way.

Please do not allow the practice of docking puppies tails and dew claws by non-vetinarians. This would be a cruel and unneccessary action if the bill remains as is. Joan Corr
