ban fireworks in ALL residential area's

I have two cats who are totally stressed for days before and after. They have to be medicated just to get into the new year.

We need to find middle ground, for those who enjoy the fireworks spectacle, areas outside residential areas....our animals stress so badly

Beacuse fireworks traumatise our animals.

I signed this petition because, although it is illegal to sell/buy fireworks in my area, the cities still do it and fireworks are purchased in other locations where it is egalitarian. They are terrifying to animals...cats and dogs, yes, but our wildlife as well. Deer, bear, raccoons, squirrels...

I have three dogs, where two of them were terrified beyond belief of the fireworks. To them it sounded like world war two has once again erupted. The following morning, I saw a dog dead next to the side of the road and 3 dogs running in the streets due to the fireworks. They are not just animals they are family members and people do not care what happens to them at all.

In countries where governments provide public entertainments, there is no need for private individuals to spend their money to celebrate new year. The problem is cut at the root.

We know all know that the fireworks shootings happens once a year, that the Police will not do anything about it, legal or not, perhaps We should prepare for it properly looking after our animals to keep them peaceful.  We could then enjoy the "'rubbish" as you call it in such positive and tolerant maner,  with the rest happy people shooting them rather than being a dry biscuit and trample over our bottom lip, hopping for a communist initiative forbidding celebration for all

People that cannot resolve problems just forbid everything for all, as per to the lowest level of competence, smoking, drinking, speeding, watching TV, listening to music, internet, eating pork and end placing bombs!

Best case scenario we will end leaving in "pleasant ville"? No, Thank you.

The time for action has come to stop the abuse on animals and birds, both wild and domestic. Fireworks with bangs are the cause of unnecessary cruelty

Because Fireworks are cruel to our domestic animals and wild life.

Because of our pets and all the animals. So many of them escape from their homes and get lost or injured for that stupid fireworks. Animals are special and our pets is like our children. Why must they suffer for humans selfishness and stupidity.

Because I hate what fireworks does to our animal life. I wish idiots around the world would wake up. I would love to shove crackers up their backsides. I despise these people.

Because fireworks traumatise pets. In any case, it's an English tradition, which has no roots or relevance to SA. The people who use fireworks are generally the less intelligent types who just like to make noise.
